On Portraiture:
I love the beauty found in the obscure: the wrinkles of an old man’s hand, the shape of a knee, the lumpiness of an abdomen, a crooked nose, or the boney part of a collarbone. I love to study the human figure: the way a gaze, body language, posture, pose and shape can portray a message, even unbeknownst to the body itself. We project more in our posture than we ever do with our voice, sometimes it is intentional, and sometimes it is not... I tend to keep my emotions on the inside, or so I’d like to believe. I like to capture these moments and let the viewer decide what the body is trying to say. On Mandalas: My mandalas are a meditative process. I get lost in the colors and design. I find peace in the repetition of the line work and the intricacy of the patterns and designs. I strive to inject each line I paint with positive energy and light. |
I love new projects!

Let me draw a custom portrait for you! I would love to draw your most cherished loved ones, a portrait of you and your family, your beloved pets, or even your favorite car! Angel portraits in memory of a loved one who has passed can also be created, using a photograph. I can even add angel wings, if you'd like.
Looking for a custom Mandala painting? Give me your rooms color pallet and the dimensions of your space and I can create a one of a kind piece, just for you! |
